It's a little bit earlier than usual but with 2 days of nice weather forecast i decided to make a start on the wrecking for the year. The pollack are out on the wrecks in abundance and feeding on large shoals of sprats and scad, this is good for us as all the fish coming up are of a really healthy and plump stamp. Surprise best fish for the 2 days came whilst at anchor over slack water in the form of a new boat record ling. Andy Deacon was fishing for Congers with half a pout when this beast took the bait, it took 15 minutes to get in on his 15-20lb class gear and tipped the scales at 31lb 4oz, what a fish!!

Just a few pictures of the healthly supply of blondes we have been getting out on the offshore banks not only on the neap tides but around slack water on the bigger tides aswell.
