Alderney 3 and breaming

Plenty of bream on the move, getting up to a nice size aswell at around 3lb 8oz. Third Alderney trip of the year completed and the first one with some nice weather.Plenty of nice flats again, big pollack and some good sized cod on the return journey. Looking forward to the first Cherborug trips in June!!

Plenty of nice bream coming out of the bay at the moment tipping the scales at over 3lb along with smoothounds gurnards congers pollack and undulate rays.

Alderney 2

Alderney 2 complete.Well done to all the anglers who actually turned up.Weather was pants but we had some nice fish and a good crack none the less.

BREAM!

|Finallyu the bream are moving after a very very late start!! We had a nice hit of about 50 today, all on the drift, along with some big wrasse and undulate rays. It was the first occasion this year i've seen more than one female in the same place so this hopefully will mean they are about done spawning and ready for a good feed in the coming months. Off to Alderney again tomrrow fingers crossed for nice flatties.

Alderney 1 2012

first trip to Alderney of the year completed dispite being knocked down tio 3 days rather than 4. Fish more than made up for the weather though with both the banks and the wrecks fishing extremely well. Cant wait to get ovedr there again at the end of next week.
