30 May 2006 - evening

A sunny evening with a northerly wind for the first of our summer evening trips for individuals.
Went to Dancing Ledge and got out of the wind.
Had a good selection of large bream, plus ray, conger, pout, dogfish and mackerel.

26-29 May 2006


Off to Alderney again at the end of a terrible run of weather with all trips cancelled.

First day found plenty of mackerel off Swanage then a bumpy crossing.
We had a good selction of turbot, brill and bass on the banks...

12 May 2006

John Tisdale came up from Cornwall with a group of anglers looking for turbot and bream.
The weather was perfect and we headed west.
The bream were scarce in the morning so we went on to the Shambles and managed 3 turbot the best a beautiful fish of 8lb Mike Bryant. Found good bream at Kimmeridge in the afternoon.

6/7 May 2006

Joe Walsh and the boys came over from Dublin
The boys seemed to enjoy the night life on Poole Quay but still manged some great fish
Day 1 was a mid channel wreck trip we started with some good congers best a 45lb+ fish for Joe himself

Wanting a later start day 2 was inshore with a nice range of rays and bream including a 4lb beauty for Tony Commerford.
