Banks in September for Flat fish

We tend to do banks trips for turbot and brill this side of the channel in the Spring and Autumn. Yesterday in a break in the weather we headed out with Aylesford SAC. The lads had an excellent catch of 22 flats comprising of 3 brill, 17 turbot 1 plaice and a dab. Best brill was a new boat record of 10lb 2oz for John Platt from Southampton while best turbot was a thick fish of 10lb 4oz for Graham Smith from Pompey.
