Alderney end of May

Set off on Friday and fished the wrecks on the way over. Excellent fishing at anchor with ling to 24lbs and loads of congers to 65lbs. Then fished on drift with good pollack to 14lbs. 2nd day we fished for flatfish with turbot to 12lbs and brill to 7lbs. Sunday saw us return a day early due the bad forecast. Again pollack and cod mid channel before a safe return to Poole in the face of strongly increasing easterly winds.
