Cherbourg 2

Second Cherbourg trip of the year completed two quality days fishing and a bumping journey home in a sou'westerly 7. Never seen so many double figure pollack in one trip, along with cod congers ling coalfish bass and bull huss it really was an action packed trip. Fish of the trip goes to Mark Palmer for his 12lb 4oz bass which was returned alive to fight another day.

Cherbourg 1st time in 2012

At last 3 good days of weather in June and the lads from Exmouth are with us for a 3 day trip to Cherbourg. Cod pollack and ling on the way over. Day 2 was amazing with the most double figure pollack we have seen in one day also a good number of bass to 8lb, ling to 22lb and congers to 60lb. More pollack and bass on the way home. What a good trip!

first bass trip

Awesome start to 2012 bass season in a good sou'easterly with heavy rain, bin a while since i've had 2 doubles aboard in one day though. Well done to the anglers who stuck it out in the rubbish conditions all day. Inshore fishing continues to produce with an abundance of ryas, bream and the first of this years tope.

 Rob Lockheart 11lb 12oz
 Jamie with an 11lber
One to pop back for another year
