With some unsettled weather recently we have seen a few trips cancelled but a few die-hard anglers stuck with it and proved that the fish still bite when the wind is blowing. Two days over a neap tide produced 20 congers, 15 tope, 3 undulate rays, a very nice pollack for one of my youngest anglers and a colourful squid.

rays

The Purbecks have been producing some good rays lately with undulate rays hitting well into the double figures.

The Isle of Wight is producing some good fish on the spring tides with all three of these bass coming within two drifts.
